The view up the cliff was fantastic, only don't look down.

On Saturday, we went out west to Manukau Heads to Whatipu. I didn't like the long and windy road, and felt like puking.

Once we got there, the beach was worth it and we had quite an adventure when we were stuck in a mini sand storm while we were climbing up a cliff about six stories high. The sand hit us like tiny bullet pellets, we went away with black sand in our hair. The wind blew my hat off.

The sand is black because of the high iron content.

A visitor said we should use a huge magnet and collect iron.
