I have a degree in political science. I keep up with politics as much as pop culture, but I don’t like to get into it in this happy little space of mine. Tonight, I had to share these images because I’m ecstatic about the legalization of gay marriage in New York.
Here’s the vote. How exciting!
I strongly believe in equality for all, including marriage. New York is now the sixth and biggest state to legalize it, where the gay rights movement started. Watch Stonewall Uprising for that history. It’s a good documentary.
