Nike is pushing the Hyperfuse

This week Nike has released images for the new hyperfuse mash-ups for the fellas, and now they are showing what they have planned for us ladies. Here is a little preview of the ladies' hyperfuse...

Now I have to be honest, I have no idea what the heck is so special about hyperfuse technology. If you know can you please help a sista out? But back to the shoes, the only silhouette in this whole hyperfuse craze that is decent is the air max 90's. The rest is just not moving me. These colorways and a few others will be out sometime next month. So what are your thoughts about these hyperfuse mash-ups?

Road Trip!! Reebok Freestyle Hi

Reebok released another freestyle this month, and it's called "Road Trip". The brown and gold crackled material and aviator patches are reminiscent of a old flight jacket. The FS means Freestyle and the 82 represents when the freestyle first came on to the scene. Not my cup of tea, but I like the old school appeal to it. These are out now at Kicks Crew

Nike WMNS Dunk Hi Skinny Premium "Tartan"

Ahh…nothing says spring like Lacoste polos and Madras shorts, so why not rock Madras pattern on your feet? As of late Nike Sportswear has been coming up with bold designs for women. I’ve had the luxury of seeing the “creamsicle” colorway in person at my favorite sneaker boutique got Sole? in Indianapolis, IN and I was sold! These vibrant dunks use of orange, blue and pink complete with a gum sole has me saying is it spring break yet? Pick these up at your local Nike retailer now.

That's Amor

So of course now is the time for the preview of (in my sarcastic voice) everyone's favorite day Valentine's day! Now let's be real, all of the Valentine's Day sneakers that have come out by all brands pretty much sucked. All that pink and red just ugh the worst! But this year Nike took a different approach on their Valentine's Day sneaker called "Amor" by making the main colors gray and black. And also adding of a touch of old school tattoo art to it. Check it out....

This is definitely a step up from the usual Valentine's Day releases but still not my taste. These are available now at Kix Files

WMNS Vans Mirah Suede

I'm with Lori on keeping our feet warm up here in the Northeast, so I took a look at EXTRA BUTTER's blog to see what they have new in stock because it definitely gets cold out there on Long Island! To my surprise they had these cute Vans boots as a new arrival! The Mirah Suede is simple yet functional with a black/red checkered fleece lining and shaft. The black suede on the toe and heel adds "fashionable" to these $55 pair in the traditional shape of the ever classic Vans slip on sneaker.

Available now at EXTRA BUTTER

Nike Women's Lunarstorm

Okay, those of us in the Northeast of the ol' USA (not to mention other northern climates around the world), are beginning to worry about the upcoming bruising winter. You know how global warming melts glaciers and actually makes us colder for a while? That had me worried until these boots showed up. Now I'm looking forward to it! The best part (besides the cozy fuzz) is that they're lighter than you can imagine, many thanks to the lunarlon technology.

Available at the Nike Store online, $110, and starting at a women's 5. I'm sure they're popping up around town too...

P.S. Global warming still has me worried. Just not for my toes.

Made Me X Vans

Next clothing brand doing a sneaker collab is the eccentric streetwear brand Made Me. Made Me and Vans have teamed up to create to eccentric look to two vans silhouettes: The Camryn and The Wellesley. Since Made Me's new fall collection has an early NYC 90's vibe going on these sneakers definitely match that. Not really feeling the Camryn but the Wellesley I'm definitely feeling. I also would like point out that the premium leather looks like butta! Nice touch! Check the pics after the jump...

Nike WMNS Dunk High Premium (Black/White/Polka Dots)

Polka dots have made a big comeback this year, in fashion and in size! The bigger the dots, the better!! These dunks celebrate the old skool fashion staple using shiny black polka dots on black leather in a subtle but eye-cathing way.

The white accents also add a sharp finish to the black on black look and could look even slicker with some black laces too! Keep an eye out for their US/UK release date or visit Mita where they are available to buy online.
