We woke up this morning to the news that an earthquake has struck New Zealand. We in Auckland is unaffected by the 7.1 Richter scale quake in Christchurch. We are on different islands, and it takes more than one hour to fly, and many hours to drive as we are separated by the Cooks strait.
Thank you to many of you who asked.
This photo was taken at the famous Christchurch Cathedral in 1978. There is no news if this building is affected. I hope not.
