Ruby Red/rednesday: Car Clubs

I am not a car hobbyist. There are people who are and there are car clubs. My friend and her husband are. They drive to all the towns in New Zealand and chill. Excuse the pun, the day I saw these at Omaha, it was really chilly. The whole family is there, children and babies. After they bbq, they had coffee at the cafe I was having a cappuccino and trying to keep warm.

They were there a long time, and I wonder what they were talking about.

Ruby red/rednesday: Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011)

My students are excited with this movie. They were chirping away what they were going to do this summer holiday. We are going to the movies and watch Alvin.

No wonder, the city buses are advertising and this bus is seen going towards the playground at Coyle's park.

The Chipmunks and The Chipettes (three female counterparts to the Chipmunks) go on a cruise trip with the Chipmunks' owner/manager/father figure, Dave Seville. During the cruise, the 'Munks and 'Ettes turn the ship into their personal playground, causing trouble and running amuck as they will. Eventually, their chaotic behavior gets them ship wrecked on the Isles of Scilly, 20th Century Fox Distribution

We enrolled him for a surf lesson. It was cold and rainy. While he was warm and snug in his wet suit, I was shivering and dripping wet with a tourist from Germany.

yellow mellow/ruby red/rednesday Playground equipment.

I am showing you this rope mountain which must be 5 storeys high. I went less than 1/3 and I had to give up.

This is at Coyle's park which is near to my school. Compare this to the eagles nest that was newly installed in the school.

Children start playing cricket at an early age.

Our school has a new challenging equipment. It is called the eagle's nest and is very high. The money is raised by the PTA, and the seniors take turns to play on it. The kids love it.

LOL, I must clarify and should have written seniors of a primary school. the juniors are very jealous.

English verse: "God Defend New Zealand"
God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.

Māori verse: "Aotearoa"
E Ihowā Atua,
O ngā iwi mātou rā
Āta whakarangona;
Me aroha noa
Kia hua ko te pai;
Kia tau tō atawhai;
Manaakitia mai
Aotearoa

From Sept 9, the Rugby World Cup was played in New Zealand. there were a lot of support by the people, different suburbs don colours of the countries that came to play. Cars flew flags. This car had a lot of flags. This house even painted their own the Coat of Arms of New Zealand. We won by a narrow margin of 1.

The All Blacks won last night against the French, after 24 years at their home ground.

mellow yellow/ruby red/rednesday:Tea for one

I was once given this Chinese Tea glass. I didn't dare to use it because I thought the hot water would break the glass and it would be too hot to handle.

When I was packing my stuff I had never used and still in it's box, I had a close examination. I found it was like two glasses like a thermos, and when you pour hot water, the outer layer doesn't touch the hot water.

I decided to use it. There is a sieve like thing that goes on top so that when you drink the tea, you don't get the tea leaves to your mouth.
