Prep, Prep, Prepositions!

Remember when we were kids and our teacher told us the way to remember prepositions was the squirrel and the tree?  A squirrel could go around a tree, on a tree, by a tree, and so on and so forth.  I thought it would be fun to add a little winter twist by having my students think about an eskimo and a igloo.  Here's what it looks like:

I also made a preposition word bank you might like to use, too.

These activities can be found in the packet below,
 along with:

*** 2 partner stories (like mad libs)

*** 5 Preposition searches (find prepositions in nursery rhymes).  Answer key is included.

*** 4 writing activities:  Write sentences with prepositions about a given topic.  There is also a blank form that you can personalize to fit your class.

This packet is available at TPT for $4.
