Last month I went to Target to pick up some clothes for my boys from Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini line, but once I saw the clothes in person I wasn’t as thrilled about them. The girl’s line is ADORABLE! I would buy every single piece. But the boy’s clothes were just not my style. I know she created the clothes for cute little hipster boys, but cropped hoodies in the middle of a cold fall for my already too tall three year old just wasn’t going to cut it. Also, the tees are really tight, which I get is the style, but not for my kid. Man, I’m such a grumpy old lady! So I just ended up with one tee shirt, a size too big, for Nolan.
I probably would have bought a few more tees (and I still might), but they only had one item in each size. Come on Target, you aren’t a boutique! Almost all of the infant clothes were sleepers and since Milo is now ten months old, we’re sort of out of that phase. I did snatch up the adorable Lion outfit that I had my eye on though.
And there you have it. My Harajuku Boys busy playing with their iPhones. So hip.
